My Experience at the Filmmaking Workshop
This filmmaking workshop was fun and enriching. Industry professionals guided us through everything from scriptwriting to post-production. Each session was interactive and gave us engaging insights into the entire filmmaking process.
The Making of a Film
Instructor: Mr. P. Thirumalaisamy
The foundation of a great film is a good script. We explore how life can inspire stories that impart meaning. In this session, we discussed concepts about story structure, character development, and shot composition for bringing a script to life. These contribute to the audience's experience of a film.
Scriptwriting & Pre-Production

Logistics of Filmmaking – Location management, budgeting, and scheduling work for smooth shooting.
Cinematography & Post-Production

The session taught us about the role of cinematography and editing in shaping the film by focusing on:
Camera Settings & Lighting – From angles to lighting to framing, altering how sight plays out in the film.
Editing Workflow in DaVinci Resolve – Practicing how to cut and tidy up footage.
Sound Design & Colour Grading – The finishing touches on a film with sound and color corrections.
